Hi,
How can we move objects in a TR from one system to another whout actually transporting them? Is there any manual process?
We have 2 systems and they are not connected via a transport Route/Layer. This is a one time task where in we need to move certain development and config items between the 2 systems.
Thanks for explaining.

You can move the transport requests by copying the data and cofiles into the transport directory of target system and use tp to import the request.
Please note that the target system should have same version and SP level as source system.

Hi
As per response above, copy your data and cofiles of source system to data and cofiles of target system. then logon to your target system, execute transaction STMS, choose the system you want to import into (from your landscape), you should have the buffer of your target system displayed. Choose Extras --> Other Requests --> then add your request (type it in).
The transport should now be on your buffer (target system). You can then treat it like any other transport. the best is to do it on your Dev first (for the target system landscape), then transport across as usual.
That should do it.
But very Important,

Otherwise you risk having lots of issues and inconsistencies.
Let us know if that helps you
