NWDS How to Change From Read-Only Mode to Write Mode for Web Dynpro Project

Hello,

I am a newbie in Web Dynpro devt. After downloading a ESS Web Dynpro from my JDI, I created a New Project and needed to make some modifications to the code in a view.

However, I am not able to make editions to the code and configuration values in my newly created project as it is showing a Status "Read-Only" at the bottom right hand corner of the NWDS IDE.

Is there any way to change the "Read Only" Mode to "Write" mode?

Hi Kok,

i suppose you have created your Project from active SC. Try create your project again from inactive component.

Well,

here you need an Expert:) I afraid, I am not one

I anderstend Avtive DC as an (quasi) stable relese of component (DC wich was buildet in CMS) this wersion should be used by another developers, unactive DC is this on which you curently work.
