All the articles i have read about running SAP applications on Blackberries, etc mention the J2EE version of Web Dynpro.
Will it be possible to run applications on mobile devices using Web Dynpro for ABAP?

Hi, if your mobile device could read web pages then it is possible and very easy to create different kind of solution using abap WD.

hello mark,
first WebDynpro for Mobile is a different technology from
MI. the latter is an offline framework while the first is
an online solution.
There exists a WebDynpro for Mobile in Java. The abstraction
layer will detect the client accessing the online WD application
and will properly display it (there are limitations however).
On the other hand, mobiles are NOT yet supported in WD for
ABAP... perhaps in the future release.
