2 step Goods transfer from DC to Store

A) what that the configuration settings to control inventory update - when a PGI is done at the warehouse - the stock status should be in transit and post GR at the store - the actual qty should be updated the store - In other words the stock at the store must be triggerred at GR at the store and not at PGI at the warehouse

B) In the scenario above how will the pending stock ( difference between the intransit stock and the actual GR at the store) be handled - can we set a rule which re update the warehouse stock or ajust stock to wastage.

C) How can be reallocate the delivery cost to the actual stock recieved and not the proposed stock in the STO

Hello:

A) IMG ---> Materials Management ---> Purchasing ---> Purchase Order ---> Set Up Stock Transfer Order ---> Assign Document Type, One-Step Procedure, Underdelivery Tolerance.

Here you can control how the stock is posted in the receiving plant.

If you set the indicator for the one-step procedure, the goods receipt is posted in the receiving plant at the same time as the goods issue is posted in the issuing plant.

If you don't set the indicator, then the goods receipt has to be done manually in the receiving plant.

B) Movement types 557 and 558 are used to handle the pending stock.

C) Not sure
