Hi,

Check the hosts file whether you have an entry for the hostname.

Actually we have remove the hosts name from /etc/hosts. Is it possible that some program still refers to these missing hostname?

Hi,

If you have entered hostname in the RFC connection, the corresponding IP address is picked up from the hosts file.

Either enter the host file entry or give IP address directly in RFC connection.

Hi,

/etc/hosts won't be needed in case DNS is being used. However in this case it doesn't look like that DNS is being used.

Regards.

maintain the entires in host file and add the message server port of destination system in service file.

Thanks all for your advice.

Finally we manage to fix this issue by removing the unwanted servers in RFC Server Group Maintenance (sm59)
