Hi,

I am facing some problem with SAPJVM while using JDBC adapter. I am trying to execute a SQL query. While using SUN's JDK i was successful. Please find more details below:

1. SAP XI 3.0 (SUN JDK)

2. Java Test Programm in Windows (SUN JDK 1.4 and 1.5)

3. Java Test Program in Linux (SAPJVM_5)

-> OK

4. SAP PI 7.1 (SAPJVM) -> does not work!

Can anyone help me in telling the problem here with SAPJVM?

Regards,

Soorya

Dear Soorya,

I assume you are using PI 7.1 along with JDBC adapter.

Have you deployed the JDBC adapter (sqljdbc.jar) for microsoft SQL OR classes12.zip for oracle?

You can go to NWA-configuration-infrastructure-javaclassloader and lookout for the corresponding component - > com.sap.aii.af.ms.lib and see whether you can find the jar/zip files in there.

Hi

PI 7.1 does require SAPJVM rather SUN JDK

Please refer to this URL

Hi Sekhar,

Thanks for that. But when we use SAPJVM with PI 7.1 we are facing this problem. But in all the other cases(using test program & in XI 3.0) it works fine.

So please help me to solve this problem.

Regards,

Soorya.

Hi Soorya,

PI 7.1 Needs the JRE 6, so check your web start version and update.

Check this document in 6th page onwards
