I am populating an ALV programmatically when i upload a file, but it is not triggering the check event. I have use the bottom logic and it doesnt work, is there another way? thanks.
l_ref_interfacecontroller = wd_this->wd_cpifc_alv_test( ).
l_ref_interfacecontroller->data_check( ).
no luck.

Do you think this is the reason why?
You use the DATA_CHECK method in the editable ALV. If the user has changed data in the ALV output, transfer the data from the context node of the ALV component to the context node of your application. In this way, you ensure that all the following functions can be performed on the correct datasets, regardless of whether the user has chosen the Check pushbutton or not.
My problem is that i see the data in my ALV grid when i upload a file, but for some reason it doesnt see any data not triggering my data check event.
Can you guys show me what do they mean by transfering data to the ccontext node of my application, because i think this might be the problem? thank you.

Hello, i looked at that link and still doesnt work. My problem is not that it isnt hitting my method data check, but it is not going into the event ondatacheck. I think this is because i am filling the alv with code by uploading a file to it, so it somehow doesnt see it?
when i manually do it, the data on the alv is saved to my table hitting the ondatacheck event. I even rebinded the table before calling
l_ref_interfacecontroller = wd_this->wd_cpifc_alv_test( ).
l_ref_interfacecontroller->data_check( ).
