Transport of table view - no effect from transport

Dear all.

We're trying to transport a table view maintained via SM30. The transport is successful, with no erros. However the table data in the transport did not get moved?

I can see the data in the source system, the task & request are released. I can see that the view was imported, but no effect on the table data - the original contents remain.

Any idea on common issues to look for?

Many Thanks!

Hi Devon,

Sometimes it'll solve through the re import. try to re-import the TR in the target system. also select the overwrite original option during tr import.

Check your log for more info : whether all object has been released or not!!?.

With Regards,

CSK.

Basis found an issue with the transport system, corrected the issue and then re-transported.

Thank you for the valuable help.

Hello,

Create a New Transport request and try transporting it.

One of the common issues in such cases is that the entries are not selected into the transport. You should select/highlight the entries before creating the transport so that the entries are included in the transport. Please check the transport to see if it has the contents. Typically you should see one entry for each row in the table. If not, please retry with the selection/highlighting option.

Hope this helps.
