Hi all,

Am facing a strange situation. I have a condition record with material AAA Price BBB validity from 01.07.2009 and validity to is 31.12.2009.

Now i want to create a condition record (VK11) for material AAA price CCC and validity dates from 01.01.2010 to 01.01.2011. But when am saving the condition record system is not saving the record saying

" The validity period of the condition record overlaps with conditions with shorter validity periods. These conditions will be deleted when u save"

But when u c above, my condition records r not overlaping. The y is this so??

Awaiting ur replies..

Thanks in advance

Cheers,

Anil.

Dear,

Kindly check some other record are existing for same set of combination. In VK13 at same ACCESS SEQUENCE with same data u will find the already existing data which might have created by some other user.

Hi

Please check indetails of definition of condition type in T-CODE V/06,and*

check what you have given valid from and valid to date .*

I think, there must be change in definition of condition type,*

Hi

No need to delete anything.

Just go to VK12>enter your pricing condtion>selection screen.

material AAA and "Valid on" = 30.12.2009,

execute. change the validity from 01.07.2009 and validity to is 31.12.2009 for price BBB.

Now create a condition record (VK12) for material AAA price CCC.

Put "Valid on" = 01.01.2010.

execute.

enter validity dates from 01.01.2010 to 01.01.2011for price CCC.

try and revert

Hi Anil,

You just close the validity period for the previos condition record and add deletetion flag to it..... Come out of VK12 and the go to VK11 and create the new entry for the new condition value....in this case system will allow you to maintain.

Hope this helps to you!!!!

Why didn't you close the previous Condition Records before creating the newly one with the same Input Parameters.

Hi,

Please check the OVERLAPPING PERIODS in the Error screen,

This might be because there was some overlapping between the earlier created condition record and the new record you were trying to create.

if it is not clear, please pos tthe Validity periods in the Pop-UP
