Issue on note 1355233

Hi @ all,

while implementing the note 1355233 (displaying document comments as excel comments) I'm facing the problem, that it doesn't work.

I've done exactly the steps described in the note, but I cannot see the symbol for the excel comment.

Does anybody know, whats wrong or does somebody facing the same problem?

We got the same requirement in displaying Document Content into Excel Bex Workbook.

Can you please tell me whether your issue is resolved?

Has anyone seen this working on recent application versions?  I'm using BW 7.31 , Excel 2010, GUI 7.40.

As per the note: 1355233

Frontend

Import Front-end Support Package 1000 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI Front end

(bi710sp10_1000-10004472.exe) into your system.

Backend

install

If you in

SAP NetWeaver BI 7.00 -> Import Support Package 23

SAP NetWeaver BI 7.01 -> Import Support Package 07

SAP NetWeaver BI 7.02 (SAP NW BI7.0 EnhP 2) -> Import Support Package 03

SAP NetWeaver BI 7.11 -> Import Support Package 05

In addition use transaction RS_FRONTEND_INIT

to add the entry ANA_SHOW_COMMENTS with value X to activate this

functionality.

Also this note is valid for

Release 700 SAPKW70018 - SAPKW70021

Release 711 SAPKW71102 - SAPKW71104

Release 701 SAPKW70103 - SAPKW70105
