cost based on material not on labour

Dear Friends,

We have a business requirement and please let me have your input.

we are using activities based on both the labor (Work Centre) and material cost.

Labor cost is determined based on the activity type on the hourly rates ( maintained in KP26) .

Now the business wants the labor cost to be picked up based on the fixed rate.

Example

Washing machine.

Minor charges for repairing washing M/C - 100$

Major Charges for repairing washing M/C - 150$

I cannot create multiple activity types for the washing m/c as the list is huge and assigning the same work centre in

can anyone thorw some light how to handle the same in SAP.

Hi Satish

Your requirement can be achieved by use of Variant configuration as:

Create Material: "Washing machine".

Create characterstics:

1) Minor charges for repairing washing M/C

2) Major Charges for repairing washing M/C

3) Filter change

4) elec fault

5)......etc

Give option to Sales order processor to choose the work done for washing machine through variants.

Based on the work assign Pricing variant like

1) Minor charges for repairing washing M/C..........P1

2) Major Charges for repairing washing M/C.........P2

3) Filter change......................................................P3

4) elec fault............................................................P4

5)......etc.................................................................P5,P6......

Now for your material + Pricing variant maintian VK11 for fixed amount.

Like:

Washing Machine + P1 = 100

Washing Machine + P2 = 200

Washing Machine + P3 = 300............and so on.

Thanks for your mail.

I think you have not understood my question.

The Process which am talking about is at the Service order level and not at the Sale order level.

when i have said KP26 you should have understood the same.
