Slow loading of UWL workitem

Hi,

We are using EP5.0. We have designed custom Workflows and ISR scenarios. One of them is FBP Claims.

Whenever an approver tries to click on the form and open (in the portal) , it takes around 5 minutes to open. When he clicks and gives approval, it takes around 5 minutes again. These work items are defined as "external services".

I would like to know bottlenecks from system side in loading a custom form and processing it after a user input is given.

Note: The approver has around 6,000+ workitems in the worklist, but loading of UWL does not take much time. It is loading of individual workitem's screen that is taking time.

I am basically asking you the ways to find out bottlenecks or the places to look at.

Hi,

This area has traditionally been a slow performer in EP5 times which you are and unfortunately is out of support since last few years. There are few documents available in SDN titled "HOW TO OPTIMIZE AND FINE-TUNE THE SAP ENTERPRISE PORTAL"

The above document would be a good way to check and optimize for the performance.

You may want to check in SDN or other forums.
