can any one help me on what tendering process is all about,, how to configure it.

which module does it actually comes under sort of things.

some information will help me a lot..

Hi,

Tendering is the creation of Quotations so it is under SD Module.

We can also trigger Quotation from projects using sales pricing and for that we need to use DIP Profile and cost planning in project.

e-Tendering tools are some external tools for Tendering purpose and which can be integrated with SAP SRM and mySAP PLM, and streamlining procurement processes .

A s Muzmil has pointed Tendering is purely part of SRM and you can integrate the same with cFolder for the capturing your documents like as technical & Commercial bid documents. SRM 7.0 Support most of Tendering features.
