Access an SA38 "report" from the web ? :-(

Hi guys,

This is an easy question for ITS gurus 😃

THE REQUIREMENT:

Some of my end users need to access a standard report that is executed in SA38.

For obvious reasons, I dont want to give them permission

to SA38. Additionally they need to execute it using a web browser.

Any suggestions ?

Im a newbie on this, but I was thinking of create a ZTransaction and then publish that transaction over ITS.

- Is it possible ?

- If yes, how can I "publish" this Ztransaction on ITS ?

Thanks for your help guys !!!

Kind Regards,

Diego

Hi,

Yes. You can do that by creating a z<transaction> for standard Report and then creating the service for that created transaction. If you are using integrated ITS then go through the following web log for creating and publishing the ITS service.

Thanks,

Cool 😃 I created my first service using the example (weblog) described in SDN and everything works fine 😃

I also download that pdf, it looks veeeery useful 😃

Just one more question:

- Now that I create and publish my new service (YSU01), Is it possible to customize that template ? I would like to hide some fields (top bottom menus, buttons, etc)

Thank you !!!!

Diego
