Hi Satya,

If you have the required authorization, you can delete the SM58 entries either one by one or all together.

One by one - You just need select the entry and click on delete button

all at once - Choose menu option 'Log File'->Reorganize

In the reorganize windows - you can select all possible statuses if you want to delete all entries irrespective of their status

And You can give the date rage or you can choose to delete specific user entries also by putting the user name.

I hope this helps you.

Hi Rahgu,

Thank you for your quick response.

When I execute ,it is displaying logs like below. At the top of the page we have delete button also.

**********************************************************

Caller Function Module Target System Date Time Status Text

SSEELAM IDOC_ERROR_WORKFLOW_START_R NONE 10.09.2009 22:49:28 The current application triggered a terminat

SSEELAM IDOC_ERROR_WORKFLOW_START_R NONE 10.09.2009 22:50:39 The current application triggered a terminat

SSEELAM IDOC_ERROR_WORKFLOW_START_R NONE 10.09.2009 22:59:51 The current application triggered a terminat

SSEELAM IDOC_ERROR_WORKFLOW_START_R NONE 10.09.2009 23:06:15 The current application triggered a terminat

**************************************************************

so when I try to delete those logs, it is throwing an error "User SSEELAM can delete this entry".

Now my question is being an administrator with SAP_ALL access, why I'm unable to delete?

Thank you,

Chaitanya.

Hi Chaitanya,

If the administrator user is not the owner of the entry, then even the administrator cannot delete the entry.

You have to login as the owner for the entry i.e. in your case it is SSEELAM and then delete the entry.
