MSG NO. IR522 (" AN ERROR OCURRED WHILE CREATING AN ORIGINAL IN THE KPRO"

Hi All,

I have created a DIR and attached th Word document in it. Now The status is IW (In Work). I am chnaging the status of the document into TA (To be approved). Here the conversion also takes plave. When try to save the document, system is throwing the following error " AN ERROR OCURRED WHILE CREATING AN ORIGINAL IN THE KNOWLEDGE PROVIDER".

When we dedug the error, we got the error mesage is IR522. " Check out of physical document is not allowed"

The crazy thing is that, It is happening for only one document. Other documents are woring fine.

Kindly provide the solution for this.

Hi,

Remove the "kpro" indicator in the spro details of the said document type, if have not configured any content server for your document storage

Prabu is talking about one document, not document type.

Hi Amaresh,

this kind of error could be caused by inconsistencies in the table DMS_DOC2LOIO.

Please run the report DMS_KPRO_READ for the relevant document info

record to get the corresponding LOIO-ID.

Please use report DMS_KPRO_CHECK1 described in SAP note 368035 to

check for inconsistencies between DMS, KPRO and content server. Please

also read note 906266. This is relevant in your case, as you are using

one content server for two systems. Details about the DIR in question

can be accessed by using report DMS_KPRO_READ.

Dear Christoph

I tried running the reports you mentioned ( DMS_KPRO_READ & also DMS_KPRO_CHECK1 ), I got system message for both the transactions as Transaction DMS_KPRO_READ does not exist & Transaction DMS_KPRO_CHECK1 does not exist respectively.

Please suggest, how can these reports be executed?

oh!!! I forgot that it's ABAP report. My Basis collegue helped me with that.

These reports can be checked in SE38
