No Message Server defined

Hi,

I have installed a SLD on a remote Server.

I set up my local J2EE engine with the remote SLD and I got the connection.

Now, if I want to develop an Webdynpro application, I can bind a model to it. But if I want to create the Jco Connection under:

http://localhost:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcwdtools/Explorer

I got the following Error on step 4.2:

There are no message servers maintained in the associated SLD. Please contact your system administrator.

As I bind the Model to the Application, I used a single server connection.

What should I do, to get my Backend R3 system listed in the "Create new JCo Destination" configuration point 4.2?

Should I use the transaction RZ70?

How to use this transaction?

Regards,

Dennis

Hi Dennis

->Go to your SLD http://<server>:50000/sld/index.html

->Click on your administrator tab

->Click on your Data Supplier Bridge

->Maintain R/3 server name in Server field

->Maintain service usually sapgw<instance no>

->Set Update local SLD to true and press Set

->Stop Bridge and Start Bridge

->Go to your RZ70 transaction in R/3 server

->Hopefully you should have your Program Names maintaned

->Otherwise click on the last icon one with 'Hand' and press yes

->Maintain R/3 server name and Service

->Activate and Start Data Collector

->When it is complete hopefully you should see the system details propogated to SLD

->Go to your sld and to the link Technical Landscape,you must be able to see the new Technical sysrtem

Then log into the application

http://localhost:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcwdtools/Explorer

Hope this helps
