Concepts in SAP NetWeaver Platform

Hi to all:

I am studding the architecture of NetWeaver and I have some questions about this:

Which are the differences between SAP Transaction and SAP LUW?

Which are the differences between DB Transaction and DB LUW?

I have taken a view in help.sap.com

But it is not clear from my point of view.

LUW is the sequence of data operation cannot be divided furher (incase of database) or business process cannot be divided further (in case of SAP). One SAP transaction spans accross multiple db transactions.
