Hi All
we are facing a problem in PO Smart form , the smartform printing the # chars for spaces ,, for other sentences it is working fine only, can any one tell me what could be the issue?
Dknfona H4 N/N d/W drento NK is printing as Dknfona#H4#N/N#d/W drento NK .
Please help us.

the user might have hit a Tab or enter key, which is converted to # as per ABAP workbench.. try some text creating your self with one space and one tab and one enter, I am sure that would be the problem..

Hi sandra,
while writting the text they pressed TAB or Enter in some editor , which even i am not able to get, but when i rewritten the same text manually in the ABAP editor the # symbol did't appered.
I guess answered your question.

Hi all,
I have a similar issue but in my case space is being replaced by # while printing the address which is being fetched from BP.
Eg:
James Brown
c\o Jerremy Brown
.... .....
Displayed as,
James#Brown
c\o#Jeremy#Brown
....#.....
This is happening when i give the print option as 'ARCHIVE' but when i try to print it with the option 'PRINT ONLY' i am getting the right print without # symbols. Please help.

Hi,
Try this if it works.
DATA: c_tab value cl_abap_char_utilities=>HORIZONTAL_TAB.
if v_txt is the variable which contains your data, then sue replace statement.
Replace all occurences of c_tab in v_txt with space.
Does the value 'Dknfona H4 N/N d/W' coming from any external source while updating in database ?
