BPM Alerts

I have gone through the Michal "alerts step by step" and "passing variables from the message payload" weblogs. I have a no-condition, generic alert working for all xi errors. The system variables (like SXMS_TO_PARTY) are populating successfully.

My question concerns a BPM alert that does not send any variable data, but is calling an alert category that does try to use the system variables (like SXMS_TO_PARTY). With this one, the system variables are writing out as "not found". Is there something special I have to do to get these variables to work?

Hi Keith,

you cannot use the container variables for alerts from integration processes. See SAP Help for this limitation: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/d0/d4b54020c6792ae10000000a155106/content.htm
