Forecast release from DP to SNP

Experts,

We are release forecast from DP to SNP with following detail

DP buckets - monthly

SNP buckers - Weekly (for first four months defined in period split profile)

Period Split = 1

Distribution profile = 25:25:25:25

According to this settings if I am having forecast in Feb 2010 of 1000 units then it should release to SNP as

Wk1: 250

Wk2: 250

Wk3: 250

Wk4: 250

But I am observing something different.

Wk1: 150 (droping the forecast for first two days in a week)

Wk2: 250

Wk3: 250

Wk4: 250

Another observation is that in the first week of Feb my forecast is release on Wednesday 3rd Feb whereas it should have been released on Monday (as happening in all other weeks).

What could be the reason for this behavior?

One more observation, if I remove the shipping calendar that means I am not having any holiday then it is working fine. It looks to me that holiday of 2nd Feb is causing the problem but WHY?

Hi Pvan,

Please check the macro determine work days. In that check which calender is considered to calculate work days.

Based on that the forecast will be destributed.

Hi,

System releases the forecast to SNP as per the shipping calendar which is assgined to location master.

That means system calculates workdays as per shipping calendar and then distributes the forecast to these

workdays.
