automatic determination of plant if the stock is not there

Hi Experts

The plant determination in the sales order will happen on the basis of CMIR, Customer Master or material master

During the sales order if the stock is not available in the plant it will go availability check screen and you can select other plant or manually change the plant in the sales order it self

Is there any procedure in the customizing if the stock is not available in a particular plant at the time of sales order? It will automatically take the other plant where the stock is available or it will show a POP up screen where in you can select other plant

Kindly suggest the solution as this is asked by client

This feature is not available in R3 SAP standard R3

Through development you can try out not sure

This functionality is available in APO module where the system will check stocks in other plants and will create a automatic STO also internally

Suppose in sales order plant is 1000 and no stocks in R3 system will stop there

Suppose there are 2 more plants 1001 and 1002

say order is for 10 units and if 5 and 5 are available in plants 1001 and 1002 then in APO system will automatically create 2 STOs from 1001 to 1000 for 5 units and also from 1002 to 1000 for 5 units if config is done in APO

I mean the config in APO allows u to do automatic STO ALSO so that you can do the sales from 1000 itself the sales order plant

You can try with User exit USEREXIT_AVAIL_CHECK_CREDIT exists in Include MV45AFZF
