HI,
Is it possible to hide the error message on Portal? I am getting an error on accessing a particular page and unable to note the error, or atleast read the error. I want to find the error to resolve it but am unable to proceed. Please assist.
Hi Anurag,
The page you are trying to access on the portal, is it a custom page or standard SAP portal page ?
If its a custom page then there are options to hide the complete error message and show a generic message in case of any exceptions.
If you are getting a error with a standard SAP portal page, then even it may not display the complete error.
In any case you can check the defaulttrace and application trace file located under the directory /usr/sap/<SID>/JC00/j2ee/cluster/server0/log for the complete error.
Cheers...,
Raghu

Hi
You can check for error information with defaultTrace.trc file at below path
usr\sap\<SID>\JC<NO>\J2ee\cluster\server<no>\log
And you can use, LogViewer for friendly readable format.
