from where the purchase group is picked?

When a shopping cart is converted to PR/PO , can some one help me know from where( table ) the purchase droup is picked.

Hi Siva,

While Creating a Shopping cart in SRM, Puchasing group is picked up based on the product category you shop for.

Settings which are required.

in PPOMA_BBP, under the P.Org- We have P.groups.

For each purchasing group, there is a responsibilty tab. in that tab, we assign the Product category the purchasing group is responsible for. Apart from this you could also use other attibutes such as the Location, Org Id which could be made use of in determining the purchasing group.

In case if the same product cetegory is being assigned to multiple purchasing group. System would determine the P.group which comes first in the SRM org structure.

Hi,

For every user in the SRM one Pur Group is assinged in the system. with that the systme will picks this.

For your information, In MM their is no Pur Group and Pur Org assignment. That is only in SRM.
