transport target and transport groups

hi i need to create,transport target and transport groups.how to create,wht is the use of these things.

Hi,

Transport Groups and Targets are needed for the Moving the objects from one system to another like D to Q

for representing each system need to create the Transport groups and the targets are needed for the replacement of object in the target system

e.g Business System A is used in Dev environment and need to replace the same with Business System B in QAS..

then the target need to be associated with the Business system A with Business System B..

Search the CTS transport mechanism in SDN for more details

Hi,

Both represents the same business systems but of different environments...

like if system A represents some R/3 Dev then System B represents the R/3 QA...
