Pipe Line Steps not executing

Hello Experts,

I am facing stage issue with PI Server,when i am executing scenario it showing black/white flag in MONI,my mapping part/development perfect.

but its not giving target pay load.Pipeline steps also not executing.

its new PI 7.1 server,do i need to configure any settings??

any help highly appreciated.

Hi ,

I faced same issue few days bck,better to check Integration Engine Configuration,if there is no entries for Logging make entries with value 1.

it will solve your problem.

Hi

first run tcode SXMB_ADM

got to integration engine configuration

specific configuration

new entry

category RUNTIME

parameter LOGGING_SYNC

make current value as 1

then u will be able to see entries of pipeline steps in SXMB_moni

plz check in moni in which step u are getting errors

In the border level please use below steps to check if you Integration Engine Configuration is as per requirements

Logon to PI

Use transaction SXMB_ADM

Choose Integration Engine Configuration

Ensure Role of Business System set to 'Integration Server'

Ensure Corresponding Integ. Server set to http://<hostname:<http port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

Then, click on 'Configuration' (pencil icon) button

Ensure RUNTIME (Category); IS_URL (Parameter) has currently value set to http://<hostname:<http port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

Please check if your INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI rfc working fine.

If the pipeline steps are not executing then you don't get any status message in the MONI. when the execution goes to the pipeline steps (integration engine) then only it shows the message in the MONI either success or failure.

No, there is no extra settings required.

As you mentioned in the MONI it is showing the success (black/white flag) then check the communication channel/check the status in RWB.

Hi

In your PI

Goto SE38 and execute program RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES

Then Check these rfcs status

Please ensure your AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER & AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER rfc working in your PI system?

These 2 rfc are critical ones for runtime execution. Integration Server/Engine uses these rfcs to communicate with Java during the runtime.

sekhar i checked RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES program in SE38,it showing everything green.

how to check AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER & AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER ,what is the procedure/steps to check.?

Hi

Logon to your PI

use SM59 transaction

expand TCP/IP Connections

Double click on these rfc

click on Test Connection

see the connections are successful.

Apart from this, please ensure the Integration Engine Configuration is done properly and revert back if you need any help over here.

Maintain proper LOGGING (1) and TRACE (2) Levels in SXMB_ADM --> integration Engine Configuration.

If there is no target payload then check the status of receiver channel.
