Hi,
in SM59 RFC TREX_SID_Clinet ( in our system ) is getting failed, by throwing an error as Program ID is not registered.
I have tried to registered the ID at OS level, when i executed the command the rfc test connection works for 25sec and again
test connection fails.
In TREXDAMIN t-code there are no entries when i executed the TREX_SID_CLINET the following error is shown in command line
"ERROR in RFC Communication Function TREX_RFC_SHOW_SERVERS is not available.

Suresh
Hi Kumar,
You need to perform few tasks on both your SAP system and TREX System
1. In TREX
a. Open TREX Administration Tool
b. Choose Host->Connectivity
c. Choose 'Connection' against to Create text (At Edit Connection - You use to modify already defined one)
d. Provide all details like SID, System Number, Application Server Host & Logon credentials
e. Choose OK
f. Then, Select the just created system, Choose RFC Destination (sm59) button against to text 'create'
g. This opens a popup with that gives you 'Program ID'
h. In the same popup you even mention the RFC name that you wish to have at SAP system
i. Choose SAVE.
2. Now logon your SAP System
a. GoTo SM59
b. Check under TCP/IP connection type
c. you should same RFC name as you created in step no 'h'
d. do the connection test for confirmation
If RFC doesn't work then please post the error back in the forum for further help.
Regards
Sekhar

Hi,
Please register this program id on your destination system not on the system on which you are configuring this RFC.
Thanks
Sunny
