QI lot not created at GR

Hi All,

I have created MMR for externally procured material with QM view with the following data.

QM in procuerment active,control key is 007,and Inspection type is 01 and stock is posted to Inspection stock.

While doing GR,QI lot is not getting created automatically.Any other settings to be maintained in customizing.

Dear Deepak

For external procurement you are doing it through routing then active 0130 inspection type

The in mm02 in qm view activate both 01 and 0130 and maintain preferred indicator tick in 0130

Dear Deepak

Please go to QI02, in the status tab there you might have maintained status profile for Supply relation ship (QM_P_001)

Kindly remove the same and then do the GR

Hi,

I tried the same but,QI lot is not created at GR for the PO.

Can you give me the basic settings to be done for creation of QI lot at GR for externally procured material.

I'll try to cross check and find the error.

Hi

Activate 0130 in QM view.Make it prefferd inspection type.

Save.

Also create a task list with Usage 5 & status 4.

Now check the GR process whether lot is created or not.

Hi,

Where do we maintain the task lists with the desired usage types.I tried it without that and still lot is not getting generated.

Should we maintain any no ranges for lots created at GR?

And some other customizing settings required for creation of QI lot?

Go to QP01-->enter material plant valid date(prior to inspection lot creation)

Enter Usage :5

status:4

At char level mainatin char.& save.

In Inspection plan you can put number range as 99999999 .

That's all needed to create Inspection lot provided that for 101 mvt type QM is active & QM view is exists in Material Master.

Which inspection type you have activated??

have you used certificate control in QM view?

What is" controlInspection Lot" in QM view?

again in QI02 please check inspection control,Is it "no inspection"

Hi Sujit,

inspection type - 01 GR Inspection for PO

certificate control - None

" controlInspection Lot" - For each material document item

inspection control - Independent of certificate type

Please check this settng

OMJJ > movement type > 101 > Deactivate QM inspection / delivery category > check for the movement type 101 QM not active

Please remove the tick

Hi

As you have used 007 key

You must have created QInfo.In Qinfo have you maintained "Inspec control"-"No inspection"

In QM view have you activated QM view ( tick near Preffered insp type")

Have you activated inspec type : 0130 also?

Diagnosis

You have planned inspection types for the source inspection or using status management that are not yet active for the material XXX.

Procedure

Activate the inspection types in the inspection setup (Quality Management view of the material master).

I am getting the above error message while I try to post GR.

Any possible resolution methods?

Hi

This error is due to either:

For source inspection in QI01 you have maintained 0101 inspection type.

As 0101 is for Pilot inspection which is excecuted through status mgt of the Qinfo.

So you have to either active this inspection type in QM view or remove status mgt & source Inspection.

But why you are making it too complex.Keep QInfo record simple & only activete 01.

This will work
