Distribution Model is Inconsistent

Dear Friends,

I observe this on our Development System.

1. Generate the DM for MAU_001 Object . Generation was done on Synchronous mode.

2. Check the Consitency of the DM , post generation.

I received the error message "Distribution Model DM_001 is Inconsitent". Upon chekcing the results, I happen to check that the MAU_001 object is Partially Inconsitent with the message "Post Generation status not updated."

The Show Details button displayed the following for MAU_001

RULE

>> 001_HEADER

>> RULE PREGEN META D Post Generation status not updated

Kindly let us know , how to resolve this issue?.

Hi Suresh,

Generate the Data object MAU_001 once again and check for data objects generated objects consistency from utility in menu bar. Also, regenerate the associated data objects if any. Once the data objects are generated completely re generate the DM.

This problem occurs when generation was not able to delete the generated objects for deleted rules.

If the NW Mobile SP is SP07 or below, please check whether note: 1289007 implemented in your system or not?

After applying note, perform the DM generation again.

Thanks for the quick update!.

Regenerating the DM did the trick. Finally, The DM is consistent and the Rule is working fine.

The regeneration took around 4 hours. Is this normal for SP08?.

Anyways, We are upgrading the system to SP09 tommorow
