Visual Administrator: Cannot connect to j2ee-engine

Hello!

I´ve installed the Full Java Edition SAP NetWeaver 04s SP7.

When trying to connect to the j2ee-engine with the Visual Administrator, I get an Error-Window:

"Unable to lookup connection to j2eServer

Unable to lookup connection parameters from localhost:50104"

My Server-Instance ist 01. So what´s going wrong?

hi Jorg,

Connect to your J2ee engine not as LOOK UP Connection. but as <b>DIRECT CONNECTION TO DISPATCHER MODE</b>!

your port seems to be right. give your server name instead of localhost.

But when connecting to the j2ee-engine with the visual administrator there is no possibility to set the kind of connection you suggested. Can I set it somewhere else?

hi jorg,

I guess you are running it in the default connection. try to create a new connection by clicking the new button. the port is 50004. give the host and user name.

The default port no is : 50004

try with user name/pwd : admin/admin
