MAX DB database size increases to 92%

Hi All,

We are using maxdb database for BI production server, But problem is, database size increases to 92%.

Please help me to reduce the data base size.

Well... thats what databases do, they grow!... is there a particular issue that makes you think that the DB should be shrinked/reorganized??... otherwise simply extend the tablespaces.

Hi,

Thanks for reply, I have deleted spool requests, dump errors and background process lists like wise any other things i can remove that means deleted things should not affect for any other things.

I'm sorry but you need to do some reading... deleting a few entries from some tables via cleanup jobs is helpful but it will not reduce the size of the database considerably.... You simply need to acommodate enough space to project the growth of your database.

You can do that using the MaxDB database manager

That information is widely available, please do some research before posting
