SAP Std SaledDocTy - Consignment pickup accepting excess qty.

How we can stop consignment pickup of excess qty using std SalesDocTy KB/KA. Though will not be delivered as ATP will be failed when attempting to pickup excess qty from completed fillup document,but system should not allow to create pickup document if fill-up doc is completely referenced.

Go to OVAH and change message class V4 no 229 to E will work. For normal return order, this will work but not sure on the consignment pick up. Try and update the forum.

Checked up by changing V4 Msg No 229, still user are able to create consignment pickup sales doc against completely referenced consignment fill-up. Thx

Dear,

It is always advisable that u keep Document KA for MANDATORY REFERENCE and put setting as C and also control the referencing procedure in COPY CONTROL betwwen KB and KA,in COPYING CONTROL, indicate DOCUMENT FLOW.

Hi

The excess quantity can be stopped by going to the delivery item category KAN (t code OVLP) change the indicator as 'B' for check over delivery

Kindly check & maintain the Logic in the Routine between the Sales Document Types through which you are creating Consignment Pick up Sales Order.
