Hi Guys,
I have been working on SAP BW-BI from last 4 years and also know some functional in Supply Chain Management. My client users i2 for SCM and demand planning. I would like to learn SAP APO and need suggestions from experts whether its good option in learning APO as a BI consultant. How does it help in my carrier. Could you please suggest me....
Regards,
Bhaskar
Hi Bhaskar,
I still suggest technofunctional has got great scope in
learning career path.
Because being technofunctional, work dependency
can be minimised and you can look things to move
ahead both functional and technical.
But ofcourse, choice is yours. SCM-BW/BI still
involves learning APO as well from BW angle

Hi Bhaskar,
To answer your query in specific, when you say learn APO, APO
has got various stuff like DP, SNP, GATP, BW/BI, etc., etc.,
In such case, as you have already plenty of experience in
SAP-BW part, in SCM angle, you can plan your career by start
learning on SCM-BW/BI stuff which will facilitate more interest
in your learning curve.
