NW CE 7.1 Post install - Portal Configuration

Hi Friends,

I have installed the NW CE 7.1 and I could configure the SLD through the configuration wizard.

I am able to login to server for administration through the URL http://<<host>>:50200/nwa.

But I am trying to login to portal by the URL: http://<<host>>:50200/irj. It is not working showing error message resource not found.

Am I missing something. Could you please help me configuring the server.

I think you might not installed EP.

There is an option during installation that I forgot exact name.

Something like CAF.

Hi,

I have selected the typical installation. Do I need to select the custom one for this.

While starting the services I can see the AS Java is started and is running.

I am under the impression the AS java means Portal.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

AS Java doesn't mean Portal. It is Application server, like Web Logic, Web sphere.

If you need portal, you have to install EP related components.

There are options for NWCE7.1, so try again.

Hi,

Additional usage type like Composition environment is to be selected and installed to get the Portal usage type. This

can be added to the existing installation as well.

For acessing to portal try to use:

http://<<host>>:50200/irj/portal
