gw/so_keepalive parameter

Hello All,

I'm trying to activate the gw/so_keepalive parameter. I have done this through smgwbut when I go to save the change it gives me a warning "Changes are note permanent and are lost when the gateway is restarted". I also verified the change using tcode RZ11 but I'm still receiving the change is not permanent. My quesiton is how do I make this parameter setting permanent?

Default Profile

Instance Profile

Start Profile

Hi,

You need to add this parameter in instance profile. And after this you need to restart system to activate the parameter.

Hi,

If you want to set this parameter permanently then set this parameter in instance profile by transaction RZ10.

Check SAP Note 743888 - GW: gw/so_keepalive profile parameter

By setting this parameter by RZ11 or in SMGW is temporary.
