SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_STARTUP_DP job is being cancelled

SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_STARTUP_DP job is being cancelled with SYSTEM Exception Error message from few days. There were no dumps or system logs found.

Job error log simply says that

04.12.2009 23:18:44 Job started

04.12.2009 23:18:44 Step 001 started (program RSAL_BATCH_TOOL_STARTUPDISP, variant , user ID DDIC)

04.12.2009 23:18:57 No alerts in configuration range

04.12.2009 23:19:21 Internal error:

04.12.2009 23:19:21 Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE

Hi Vinod,

Check the system log from the time of the job being cancelled.

Check for any error entres there.

Check the job details and see what server and what work process handled the job, then check that corresponding dev_w* job to see more details on why it failed.

Hi,

I would suggest to check system log first for any other error.

I rememer this problem in the past caused by old monitor segments with status SHUTDOWN in transaction "RZ21>Topology>Segments Overview". Please check it. In case these entries exists you can delete them with RZ21>Technical Infrastructure> Reorganize segment table.
