BOXI 3.1 can't read a Structure from a BEX Query, but BOXI 3.0 can

Hello

I have a Query where I have defined a structure. I restrict a Charactaristic. I can read the structure in BOXI 3.0. It made a dimension, with the same name as my structure. But in the univers BOXI 3.1 it only make a dictionary. Can anybody help me?

Hi,

Are you using XI 3.1 SP2?

If it is the case, we have introduce new options for generating and updating universes.

One of these options is to remove the "L00" generation in universe.

We found an issue related to this option: Level 00 (L00) is never generated whatever the metadata to generate.

If will be fixed in SP3 and always generate L00 for hierarchies, hierarchy variables and structures: this option MUST only apply on characteristics.

Thus might explain your issue. So we recommend in the meantime to always generate L00 to avoid this problem.
