Problem when copying old shopping cart

Hi,

When i tried to create a new shopping cart through by copying the old shopping cart from 'Old Purchase Orders and templates'.

There is NO 'source of supply' copying. vendor is exist in the old shopping cart,but in the copied shopping cart no vendor ..field is gray even i am not able to enter.

any one could give the proper reason..where i have to check and what happening here.
