Handling Special Characters in PI

Hi Experts,

I have a simple one to one mapping.

But the problem is in source I am getting following text:

"MM ORDER 104010100 plusc handels gmbh Winterthur-Töss"

And in my target I am getting like following:

"MM ORDER 104010100 plusc handels gmbh Winterthur-Töss"

Please observe the "Töss" text in source and in target. It is changing like "Töss"...So how to handle the special characters in the mapping.

Some different special characters are: ö ü

regards,

rams

Hi,

Normally UTF-8 encoding can handle the umlaut character set also...

May be check the interface by doing a end to end test..instead of doing only mapping....

if still the same problem then need to check for the encoding which supports the same...

for umlaut characters ISO-8859-1 encoding...needs to be used i think..not sure..check the same in internet
