Activate New document pricing

Dear All,

Isssu is regarding Activating new document pricing.

May be this is very basic query to be asked.

What is the functionalty on ACTIVATE ICON in Sales Order Header Condition Tab.

However, we have update icon too as we have in item condition tab, ie., both Activate and Update icon is availble in header condition tab.

As per my experience, Say we enter a header condition type and enter the value in amount column respectively, then the value in condition value will not be calculated. Its only displayed once to go back to overview screen and again come back to header condition tab.

OR instead of going to overview screen you can click on Activate icon so that the condition value will be picked.

Now, my query is that is this the only purpose of activate icon in header condition tab of sales order or for any other purpose.

Inputs will be of great help.

Hi Vijayashree,

in sales order when u want to determine new pricing type ( go to Edit --> New price document) which is define in pricing procedure determination. activation icon is used for the same. always u get new pricing for the same pricing type
