Result Recording

Hello,

I would like to ask how will I skip doing characteristic check during result recording. I would like to maintain tasklist in inspection plan for reporting and a cuztomized form.

I would like to do defect recording and usage decision only.

Hi

1.In QM view of inspection type do not tick on" task list or material Specs".

2.Maintain "sampling procedure" for sample calculation.

3.this will alow you not to do Result recording .In QA32 you can directly go to Defect recording & UD

You can create a task list and mark all the characteristics as optional and record defects on the ones you want.

If you are only doig defect recording why use characteristics in the first place? For that matter, why even bother with a task list?

Simply uncheck "inspe. with task list" and "Check Characs." in the inspection type set up in the MM. Then all you have to do is make the UD. If there are defects you click on the defects button and record them.
