Create PO when save SO automatically

Hi all,

My req is to create a PO when user saves SO. Can it be done through output control?? if yes plz explain what all the configurations need to be done.

Hi,

In Sales docuement item category (T.code VOV7) there is check box "Create PO automatic", If you activate this field, the system automatically generates both a purchase order requisition for third-party schedule lines as well as a purchase order in the background when you save the sales order. Use this field to create an PO automatically in background.

What you can do setup an order item level output and write an code with help of ABAPer to process this output in case PO is created against PR in sales order. This way you can monitor, but it is realy required?

Or you can ask you ABAPer to call the program RM06BB30 (ME59n) within output processing program and provide the parameters as required to create the PO againest PR.
