Error while starting SAP from mmc Console

Hi,

I am trying to start SAP system through sapmmc, by right clicking on the System and pressing start. But getting this unknown error:

Start Failed: 2

NIECONN_REFUSED (WSAETIMEOUT: Connection timed out), NRawConnect failedin plugin_fopen()

Checking Start Permission on http://oiam:50113 failed: NIECONN_REFUSED (WSAETIMEOUT: Connection timed out),

NRawConnect failed in plugin_fopen()

Can anyone help me in getting this resolved.

Hi,

Please read the SAP note 1375494 this is a new note that could be affecting systems in Windows 2003 and 2008.

I Strongly recomend to apply everybody to apply this Microsoft Fix.

Hi,

Restart the OS and try........i have faced the similar problem..I tried it by restarting the OS....

but,

my database was on AIX and SAP was on windows....

I dont whether this helps you....i

Have you started the SAP services and DB services at OS level first?

If so, what error can you find in Event Viewer?

Yeah I have started Database initially, and it's working fine at OS level.

Just when I try starting SAP system it is throwing this error.
