Hi all,
I am getting HTTP 500 internal server error for some of scinatrios in PI. After some time the ineterface is working fine and we can reprocess the error messages which was system error status earlier due to this http 500 inetrnal server. What are the possible (ways )reasons for this error. How we can eliminate this errors.

Hi Ramakrishna,
You get 500 error due to 'internal Java' error. So please perform the below
1. please check this URL, http://<hostname>:<http port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
let us know if you get status as 'empty request received'
2. Please perform the full cache refresh using URL http://<hostname>:<http port>:/CPACache/refresh?mode=full
(if and only you are allowed to perform)
3. Please post us the error that you are getting while the Integration Server response is 500.
SXMB_MONI - error messages as well latest default trace content will give more details to address this issue.

Sekhar

Hi,
I will suggest you to check default traces whenever you are getting this error in (/usr/sap/<SID>/<instance>/j2ee/cluster/server<n>/log) n is the server node number.
also, paste here so that we can analyze the error.
Thanks
Sunny
