Dear All

What is SAP Travel Management module all about?

Requirement is to implement it in view of a large sum spent by employees of the organisation on travelling. However, SAP HR and Payroll module(s) has not been implemented.

Employees have been defined as Vendors with external number range equivalent to their employee numbers.

As of now, a separate internal order type has been created for employees and all employees have a statistical internal order. Thus, we know what amount has been spent by whom and under which GL account head.

We are keen to go in for Travel management module implementation and would like to know masters; t code and configuration part.

Hi !

The Travel & Expense Automation procedure in SAP allows travel requests and trip expense statements to be created in SAP.

These SAP documents are linked directly to the financial & human resource modules.

Hi,

There is two major classifications available in travel.., 1.Before trip (trip planning, booking etc) , 2.After trip (submition of travel report).

Most of the companies are willing to implement travel expenss which is activites after trip. This will handle the process of employee reimbursement and credit card expense during the travel. This module can be used only for the employees and not for any external persons, in other menas HR master data need to be available for the employees those who are going to use travel expense module.

The payment can be masde by AP after the trip expenses are posted to finance module.
