Dear Gurus,
Please guide me how can we use this Technology. I mean to say is it enough to create the WD Application in SE80.
Can we develop Objects similar to MM01 etc or only for reporting and other normal purposes.
I would like to present this to my management.
Thanks in Advance.

hi
I mean to say is it enough to create the WD Application in SE80.
1 ) u can create stand alone applications in SE80
2) u can integarte ur applications through Portal as well
apaart from the normal wd applications , u can also create Faceless components
these are Web Dynpro components without graphical elements u2013 that is, without windows or views.
check out for the standard SAP packages SWDP_DEMO , SWDP_DEMO_TUTORIALS

Dear Gurus,
How can we utilize this Webdynpro.
how can we integrate the webdynpro applications and give them to users. That means can we create Custom Transactions which we do using normal ABAP. To Integrate all Webdynpro applications do we need Enterprise Portal (EP).
In One word how this Technology will give an advantage over normal ABAP.
Please guide me.
Thanks in Advance.
Regards
Ram

Usually you are not using Transactions to start a pure Webdynpro application. Just use the URL. You can, but do not need to integrate your applications in an EP. Because they are just Links, you can use your usual Webserver or a simple Linklist, but you loose some advantages while not using EP, like the central position for the Look&Feel of your applications.

Well, its "normal ABAP". From a technical point of view, you are pressed into concepts like the Model View Controller pattern and you are forced to use ABAP Objects. These concepts have many advantages, but some old fashioned ABAP programmers have a few problems to learn them and try to ignore these concepts since ages.
Just gve it a try. Its cool.
Hi,
Web Dynpro for ABAP or Web Dynpro for ABAP (WD4A, WDA) is the SAP standard UI technology for developing Web applications in the ABAP environment. It consists of a runtime environment and a graphical development environment with special Web Dynpro tools that are integrated in the ABAP Workbench (SE80).
there are various advantages of using wd abap.
