Hi Akshay Dalal

We have quality(700) client back up

I guess this means, you performed client export.

You want to copy this into new client.

Is that new client in the same Quality server or you want to create a new client in seperate server?

If its in same box, you can use SCCL.

If its client import, you can use SCC8.

I am suggesting you to read some documentation about client administartion. You can get enough documentation form google itself.

thanks & Regards,

Nagendra.

Hi,

If you have backup of earlier client export then simple import it in other system from SCC8.

Thanks

Hi Akshay,

Actually we have backup in hard disc

I guess you are having cofiles and datafiles of Client export.

You need to copy these files in to your cofiles and datafiles manually.

And add the transport request in your target system queue then start import.

Thanks & Regards,

Nagendra.

Hello Akshay!

Still; you are not sured about what types of backup have!!

There are different steps and procedures for both types of backup (Ful DB backup / Client Export!)

Please ensure that do the related steps for the above!

Hi,

What do you mean by client backup ? Is it means that you have created a backup client ?

If yes, then simple perform local client copy (SCCL)

Thanks
