Hi We wish to use web services in our organization. As far as I understand Sap Server also hosts a UDDI server. My question: is it possible to use this server to publish web services offered by .NET or any other sort of application for that matter? Thank you Yuval
Hello,
SAP Service Registry is UDDI v3 compliant registry which can be used for publishing and discovering all Web Services (SAP and non-SAP). Please see the link [http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/032bad72-0801-0010-53b0-aae141df95eb]
Thanks,
Venu

Hi Venu Thank you for your reply and suggested reading. A question if I may: If I have a .NET service I would like to publish, can I just manually upload the WSDL to Sap's UDDI while providing all relevant information? With Java I can do it using NWDS, but how do I do it using .NET? regards yuval
Hello,
For handling .NET Web Services, SAP has Enterprise Services Explorer tool for Microsoft .NET (ES Explorer for .NET) which is an add-in for Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and 2008. I have not used this.
You may see the link [http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/c0319dc4-d76d-2a10-d19f-e4f4ff315bde] for more info.
Thanks,
Venu
