Hi,
I hope someone can help me solve an issue that I have.
I am currently working with SRM 7.0 which is integrated with Funds Management in the R/3 system. My problem is that the budget is only updated when the Shopping Cart is approved and the PO is generated in the R/3, and what I really need is to update the budget when the SC is created, rather than when it is approved.
I was wondering if anyone has already be confronted with something similar, and if yes how resolved it.

My take on this is if the SC is subject to approval and can be approved or declined it makes no point in updating the funds management . Shopping cart generates (pre)commitment in funds management after approval. I am sure it wont update until approval process has actually completed .
Lets assume you are able to update funds management before approval process is has taken place, but then how are you going to revert or reverse this which has false impact on reporting.
If you can elaborate on your Technical scenario i guess our SRM community will further respond it to you.
