query on connecting two diff user interface systems?

Hi Friends

Is it possible to connect MM system ECC 6.0 EPh4 and SuS system SRM 7.0 to a portal and both buyers from MM side and Suppliers from (SRM component)SuS side logs into portal and buyer should have a buyer role+display role of supplier so that buyer can monitor supplier,If its possible through std/what kind of development needs to be done.
